Is it possible to shorten the IKEA Hemnes bed headboard?

Hello, how difficult the disassembly is mainly depends on how it should look afterward. The bed does not need to be completely taken apart. Depending on the position of the support for the sprung frame / slatted frame, this may also need to be unscrewed to be able to loosen the screws for the headboard. The assembly instructions also help with the disassembly and can be downloaded from the Ikea website.
