Is it possible to have IKEA PAX corner units with sliding doors?

Hello,

I need a wardrobe that I want/must place around the corner due to the room size. Now I plan to combine two Pax cupboards with sliding doors (at 1.50m) with a corner unit.

Now my questions:

1. Is that possible?

2. Can the corner unit be opened without problems?

3. Are gaps visible between the sliding door elements and the corner unit?

4. Has anyone done this and can provide photos?

I do not understand the question:

A corner element and 2 x 75 cm carcasses each on the right and left?

With sliding doors of 150 cm?

That cannot work, as the corner carcass also has an internal measurement of about 50 cm.

Therefore, I would also arrive at an overall length of approximately 250 cm.
Unfortunately, sliding doors with 250 cm are no longer available. Thus, I would have to resort to sliding doors that are 300 cm long.
So I would have:

1 corner element
2 75 carcasses
1 300 sliding door

Since the doors are 150 cm wide and with the 75 carcass and a 50 cm corner piece I already come to 125 cm, I would have 25 cm to shift the door.

Or the short answer:
NO, it is not possible

Okay, I think you are assuming the old corner cabinet variant.

The currently available corner cabinet has its own door at a 45° angle and is a separate element. Not like before, just an extension on the 100 cm element.

So it’s only about whether I can attach a sliding door cabinet to a corner element without gaps forming, or the door of the corner element no longer opening...

Aaaalo, hypothetically speaking, it should work if there is enough space. Let's take a look at page 9 of the assembly instructions, picture 3. The concern is that the sliding doors or their finishing strips protrude so far that the door of the corner element (Ee) bumps against them. If you now imagine sliding the Ee diagonally out of the corner, the adjacent cabinets move slightly to the side. You can do this until the sliding doors are at the "same level" as the doors of the Ee. Then everything should work. Or was there a flaw in this reasoning somewhere?

If a cabinet with normal doors stands next to it, it works as well. The doors are hinged, so there is only about 1.5 mm distance between the edge of the door and the carcass. That means you don’t need to pull the Ee-carcass out so far that the door protrudes significantly.
