Good day. We have installed a Hansatwist concealed fitting with a Bluebox in the shower. Now I would like to replace it with a concealed thermostat so that the temperature fluctuations caused by our fresh water are no longer so noticeable. Is this possible without major effort? Or is a different concealed housing required for this? Thank you very much

That should work without any problems. For example, "HansaHome" UP Thermostat.

Ok, so dismantle the access point part and install the new access point thermostat upper part.

Is an in-wall shower thermostat recommended? The additional cost compared to a normal one or a retrofit is not insignificant. The time required should not be too much. But the access point thermostat part is quite expensive. Does it really prevent temperature fluctuations with slight pressure drops? Can it also maintain fairly low temperatures well? Many thanks

I am not an expert and have not worked with the system yet. All I can tell you is that the mentioned UP thermostat also fits on the "Blue-Box" (you can check this yourself at Hansa). How easy/difficult the conversion is, I cannot tell you due to lack of experience. How well the temperature regulation works with your system, I also unfortunately cannot tell you. You will have to try that out. As a rule, it should work quite well with a brand manufacturer like Hansa.
