I am considering using glass fleece in total in our new house in the living room and bedrooms. I am thinking of StoTap Pro 100 P painter’s fleece or StoTap Pro 100 S painter’s fleece. I would like to get the opinion of the experts here. 1. Is it breathable, e.g. compared to a cellulose painter’s fleece? Or will it completely seal the wall and lead to mold growth? 2. When cutting the glass fleece, I noticed small glass particles in the air. Is that harmful to health in the long run when it is glued? Maybe I am paranoid and thinking of the notorious story of asbestos, which was a popular building material in the past and whose fibers caused TB for a long time in the second half of the last century. Are fiber particles released from the glass fleece after it has been painted, and will they cause any health problems? In the specification from the STO website, the following is written: "nicht lungengängig, da Faserdurchmesser > 5 µm" What does that mean, are glass fiber particles continuously emitted, but it is not harmful because the diameter of the particles is > 5 µm? 3. If I have to choose a cellulose painter’s fleece, which one would you recommend, e.g. brand/ Thank you!

Walls and wallpapers do not breathe. They never have. If you had read the manufacturer's description, you would have come directly to the first point:
[*]Mold-free: The non-woven wallpaper is breathable and particularly suitable for damp areas such as kitchens or bathrooms because it is breathable and can help prevent mold formation.
P.S. Mold is caused by high humidity, poor ventilation, and insufficient heating. The wall covering hardly matters to the mold. Yep, and after two to three years the fleece has dissolved and is completely in the breathable air ;-) Of course, it is not continuously emitted. Besides, you also put paint on top. It only matters that the processed fibers are large enough. It's basically irrelevant. They mainly differ in thickness. Renovation fleece is thicker/heavier and better at masking an imperfect wall.
