Is building a house affordable for us? What is realistic?

For me, property is a security for the family; if I were alone, I would spend my money differently.

I find that nonsense. Why only own property if you have children? When renting, you usually can't arrange things as you want. And security alone is not necessarily the driving force for owning property. Moreover, that can also be a misconception.
