Is a TV wall mount stable on a brick wall?

Anyway, you don't really have to worry. Even 12.5mm drywall would hold 50 kg with appropriate anchors and four screws.

Are you sure about that? I admit, I've never tried it. But in my first training at the hardware store in tools/hardware, they always advised against it.

let's put it this way, I don't know from personal experience about 50kg, but according to the technical data, it's possible. as I said, with the right plugs and if you install it correctly. the plugs must not spin. from personal experience, I know that 30kg works, but strictly speaking, that usually wouldn't be enough for a 65-inch TV including the wall mount. however, I still maintain that the wall in the photo will hold it securely.

Ah sorry, rechecked it, it is 40 kg per m² with single boarding and 50 kg with double boarding. Per cavity anchor it is 25 kg single and 30 kg double.

For example, from Förch. I used it myself for the ring beam with subsequent masonry adjustment.
It results in an insane steel-wall connection.

But for a TV? You could probably just glue the mount on with good mounting adhesive :P
