Is a scissor staircase worth it for the attic?

I actually suspected that a scissor staircase might also be more comfortable. Some models give the impression in pictures that you can move the foot of the staircase forward or backward depending on the situation, and some have wheels at the bottom <- what that is supposed to be good for is still completely unclear to me. Oh, and they supposedly have no swivel range, although so far I have not had the impression that normal pull-out stairs cause problems there... Well, I just hope that someone who has one will speak up. Or someone who, for that matter, decided on a completely different staircase for the attic, maybe there are more. Maybe the metal material is more durable or easier to clean? Maybe they are easier to open or close? Or even heavier than the wooden stairs? Questions, questions.
