Hello. What kind of dimmer would you install? A push-button dimmer or a rotary dimmer? We are only concerned with the more convenient operation. Since we have not used any dimmer so far, the small decision is a bit difficult for us...

I find rotary dimmers significantly more intuitive

I also find rotary dimmers more practical because they are quicker to operate.

A rotary dimmer will always work with a rotary potentiometer (and cannot become smart), while a touch dimmer can also work with a step control.

We have a few rotary switches from Gi Gambarelli acting as push buttons. You have to hit and hold the point. It runs through Eltakos in the sub-distribution, so there is also a radio push button. Conclusion: rotary push buttons do exist, but at least ours are not so intuitive.

I find rotary dimmers clearly more intuitive

That is also my "research result".

(I didn’t quite get your description, Hampshire. Do you know it the other way around?)
