Hello everyone,
we had our prefabricated house built on a concrete slab. The concrete slab currently protrudes about 30cm around the entire plot from the ground.

In the areas where we are filling in with soil, we will of course install a dimpled membrane. But is that necessary in the area of our terrace as well? I have a beam construction (battens/counter battens) with pedestal supports that stand on the soil compacted by the construction. So the ground will not be filled in this area and the concrete slab will continue to protrude 30cm from the ground and get air.
For "a feeling," I have now poured in 16/32 gravel (even though the water can drain in all directions anyway and the slope goes away from the house). I have filled about 5cm wide over a width of 30cm. Should I also place a dimpled membrane here between the gravel and the house?

The thing about the dimpled membrane only occurred to me after I had already emptied the bags...

Thanks in advance
Regards
