I meant the objects next to each other and not opposite. That was not so clear in your question. Regarding your question about opposite: it totally depends on how many people walk through there and how often, while someone is standing there. It’s very individual; for 2 people it’s enough, but for more—where one is always at the sink and another has to pass by to use the toilet—it can become annoying.
