What did you use?

Is smoothed Q2 enough to just paint over?
Or do you need smoothed Q3?

We don't like the felted look.

How can one imagine the execution Q3, what additional steps are there to make it smoother?

We have Q2, only scratched.

After the 5th year, we are receiving far more hairline cracks than we had expected.

We can live with most of them, the others we tolerate. We would choose better Q for the next house!

Q3 means that the plaster is sanded again, then a batten is attached, it has to be level. Existing defects are filled with a fine filler. My opinion: these plasterers cannot do this in a rush, let the painter do it. he is usually better. However, it has nothing to do with cracks. Karsten

Ok thanks for the information and the explanation!
I will inquire with the painter.
