Have never seen anything like this made of metal in a single-family house.
Our child was already able at two years old to unlock the locking rosette from the outside with a wooden toy screwdriver. You’re safe from them nowhere. ;)We also have them in the house, never before.
With small children, it really has advantages, because then you have lockable toilets (at least in the guest WC most people will probably appreciate that) without the risk of a child locking themselves in out of reach. Our eldest once locked herself in the bedroom, we hadn’t put the key up high there, and then things get interesting... She stayed calm, the parents fairly calm :p, so after a few attempts she managed to free herself again. Otherwise, the door would have had to be removed.
