The beams were only resting on slag at the neighbors, with no support on the exterior walls. And even if they were; with a bound fill and then dry screed elements, you also get an even support again. When I hear that the neighbors even installed flowing screed—and that was decades ago—then apparently that is not a problem. But yes, we will definitely have it calculated, we have an architect specializing in listed buildings among our friends who will take a look beforehand.
In any case, before the actual work, we will open up a few square meters and look underneath to get an accurate picture. Furthermore, the neighbors have the original building plans with exact details of what was installed. That could also be very helpful.
