Hello everyone,
we have a new building with ETICS and the top coat plaster was applied recently. Below the lift-and-slide window, a drainage channel still needs to be installed by the landscaper, so currently some insulation was visible there. In some areas, base coat plaster was applied on this surface, but not over the entire area.
I was very surprised when I noticed during the last site visit that the insulation has melted quite a bit in the spots where no base coat plaster was applied. I can only explain it by the strong sun exposure (this is the south side) causing it to melt.
Question: What should be done now? Does it need to be renewed or just "filled in"? Is this a defect or was the work possibly not done properly?
Attached are 2 pictures. The top coat plaster is the white droplets (for my taste, the work could have been cleaner), dark grey is the insulation, light grey is the base coat plaster.
Thank you very much!
