I want to stick Styrofoam with construction foam onto my Eternit asbestos facade. Is that possible? The Eternit facade is ventilated. I ask for your help.
Hello, I have no idea if that will hold or not, I am not an expert. It will probably hold, depending on how strong the Styrofoam is supposed to be. But what are you hoping for from an additional insulation layer in front of the ventilation?
Basically, I just want to make sure that the Eternit panels are not visible. Tearing down the whole construction involves a lot of work, because I would have to chip off the loose base plaster and replaster completely. I’m just not sure if my idea could cause condensation to form under the Eternit panel construction, which might attack the base material or cause mold. At the bottom of the construction there is a lift circulation grille.
I actually only care that the Eternit panels are not visible.

The construction already needs prayers to hold - but you still want to apply something? - cool idea.

You might be hitting the nail on the head. Make a video tutorial "Construction damage self-made" out of it, from the commission for the clicks you can then pay a professional *LOL*
If the asbestos products are heavily weathered or damaged, it is actually mandatory to dismantle them properly and dispose of them as hazardous waste. Covering them up now is probably also prohibited. The next person might drill into the facade without realizing that there is asbestos underneath.

Then yes, but ten percent of the "asbestos" in forum posts is asbestos, so I rather suspect artificial slate here. It is not only that not all that glitters is gold – but also not all asbestos comes from Eternit.
