Insulating attic floor

Hello everyone,

I would like to cover the attic (loft) floor with OSB boards so that it is properly walkable; right now only the wooden beams are visible. I want to lay glass wool (compression fleece) between the rafters. Can I just lay the wool like that or do I need a vapor barrier in between?
The roof is insulated with wool and foil.

In my opinion, this works without a foil. The envelope and the warm-cold transition is the insulation under the roof. Actually, the ceiling doesn’t really have to. But it doesn’t hurt either.

But the ceiling must. Well, what does must mean. Should. Otherwise, the attic will always be heated as well. If you take wool, please take Rauspund. There are more joints. Then the moisture can escape upwards. Alternatively, please leave a proper amount of joints between the OSB boards. It would also be important to install a basic small forced ventilation, if not already present. I assume that the attic is not heated?

That's right, the attic should not be heated, only used as storage. What do you mean by forced ventilation? So did I understand correctly that the foil is not necessary?

Under our tongue and groove, there is none either. Right away the wool. And a carpenter did all that, a professional. Not me as an amateur. I only helped and acted according to instructions. And paid in the end.
