Hello everyone

I would like to install a water connection from the bathroom to the room next door in our apartment.

The water connection will be used about 2 times a week for washing hair. About 5 minutes per hair wash.

I was thinking of using a T-piece and installing a valve to turn it off. I would like to lay the line with 2m flexible cables which I will connect with hemp wool etc. A cable duct should hold the whole thing stable.

What do you think of the construction, can it work as I imagine?

Thank you very much in advance:)

Best regards

... and where would the drain be? Is that your apartment or rented?

I don't think that is allowed, since the intended use of the room is different and therefore it does not have a suitable floor or screed sealing.
When washing hair for 5 minutes, you use a lot of water, where should the approximately 50 liters go?

Kind of a crazy idea, isn't it? :)

Best regards in short

I already expected that the question would come up, but thought it was not relevant to my post.

The landlord is informed and agrees (I live in Switzerland, people here still help each other).

And the wastewater goes into an old chemical drum with a capacity of 200 liters designed for this purpose.

Everything is already fully planned! And is currently being operated with a mobile hairdresser's washbasin.

I would be very grateful if the next answers relate to my question.

So once again, thanks in advance.

Regarding classic shower hoses, I only know of leakage problems at kink points, which can be avoided with "fixed" installation. I know someone who has divided several old buildings into worker apartments, who used hoses as heating "pipes" in many places without problems.

And here in a German forum, people help when a OP is sparing with their explanations - then the circumstances around it are also examined ;)
