Hello,

in our future new building, laminate flooring is to be installed in the children's rooms and bedrooms.

So far, my information is that no impact sound insulation should be installed, at most the fully integrated one in the newer/more expensive laminate. Furthermore, I have heard that the laminate should be glued and not laid loosely to have a better heat transfer.

Is this really all correct?

Thanks for your tips/experiences

Hello,

If laminate flooring is suitable for underfloor heating, you can also install impact sound insulation if needed. However, this should also be suitable for underfloor heating. There are versions with or without this suitability, and that applies to all types, not only the expensive but also the more affordable price segment.
