Hello,
I want to install a new countertop on my bar in my party room.

The dimensions of the board should be 145x50cm.

My question is now:

- What thickness should I choose for the board? 19 or 28mm?
- Should I take a décor chipboard or a worktop?
- Where can I get such a board as a complete cut-to-size including edge banding, possibly cheaply online?
- How much does such a board cost approximately online, in a hardware store, or from a carpenter?

Thanks for your help!

Hello Kimi

with the measurements online, the shipping becomes really expensive.
Go to a hardware store with wood cutting. They also put edge banding on. And you can immediately see which board you like the most.
Take the thicker one. I wouldn't worry about those few extra euros.

Thank you very much! I am asking about the thickness because the suitable décors are only available in 19mm and whether this is sufficient?!
