Good morning everyone,
we are currently building a KFW70 house with a flat roof. Now I am faced with the question of how and where to mount the satellite dish along with the LTE antenna. Since we already have flat roof collectors for the photovoltaic and solar thermal system as well as a chimney on the flat roof, mounting the satellite system on the roof is no longer feasible or would cast shadows on the collectors.
So the only remaining option is to attach the satellite system to the house wall. Our masonry consists of a lightweight hollow brick from the company Lücking (Planziegel W8) with a thickness of 36.5 cm. Is it possible to attach the satellite dish to it? If yes, how do I best attach it?
The alternative would be screwing it to the ring beam. Here I only see the problem of getting the dowels and screws into the reinforced concrete.
Which solution would you prefer?
Thank you very much in advance for your help!
Best regards
