Hello everyone,
I have moved and had planned to take my EX-girlfriend’s kitchen with me. Emphasis on EX. We told the landlord that we wanted the stove connection on the right and the water connection on the left. This was done accordingly, but now I am getting a kitchen for free that has everything on the left. So now I would have to call the landlord and ask him to move the stove connection back to the left. However, he has laid the cable under the tiles, so a “simple” change is no longer possible. Now the question to you experts... what options do I have? Can I extend the connection from right to left? Is something like that allowed? From the wall (right) there is now the normal connection for the stove. I would attach to that and run the connection from right to left, of course properly secured with a cable duct...
What else could I do? I thought about calling the landlord, asking for the electrician, and maybe I’m lucky and he started the stove cable above or below the tiles, because my previous tenant had the connection there and then extended it to the right. So then I would only have to open that junction, decommission the extension, and could simply come out with my stove connection there.
Of course, I would prefer to simply move the connection from right to left :(
I would really appreciate any tips and advice.
Best regards
Bob
