Hello everyone,

after a misunderstanding with the tiler, I now have to install the shower tray I purchased myself.
A suitable frame has been bought. The shower tray should later be flush with the tiles.
The frame will be placed on the raw floor. The shower tray will then be set on top. (Hope that is correct)
My problem now is the sealing between the shower tray and the plastered masonry. I have seen online that there is sealing tape that is stuck around the tray and then plastered over at the plaster. Does anyone have experience with DIY and can recommend suitable sealing tape and filler? Or does anyone have other options??

Thank you

Hi,

Is the question still current or have you already carried it out?

Best regards, Jann

Hello,

is no longer current. Shower is now being tiled. Shower tray is omitted.

Hi,

This is also the best solution in terms of sealing.
Good luck.

Best regards, Jann

Yes, that's probably true. No one wanted to do it. Neither private individuals nor companies. Now I myself no longer dared to do it either.
