I do understand the "glass impulse" because it is a permanent, 100% waterproof material, but cleaning would be annoying for me. Every time after showering, you have the marks on the glass and either it looks unkempt, or you just have to work. I have granite walls as a shower partition - with a curtain in between that rests on the floor and therefore does not wrap around the calves. I love the lack of work (at this point) and find our solution great.

Just because you don't have to clean, doesn't mean there's no dirt. ;) After showering, a quick wipe-down is usually enough. It takes less than a minute if you mount the glass with flush fittings.

Yes, exactly! "there is no dirt" of course not, but lime doesn't bother me that much. Every few years I take care of it when you can see it. My respect for the care with the glass walls, which thousands of people have endured over the last years, as popular as glass walls are in showers ...
