hello, we have decided to get laminate flooring in the attic, the walls are mostly double-layered drywall. Now my drywall installer said I should lay the laminate first and he will then adjust the door frames and doors accordingly. You leave space with wedges all around the walls. How is it at the places where the door frame goes, do I also leave a gap to the wall or where the door frame will be, or is the laminate laid flush there?

Same distance to the wall all around.
Place the transition profiles on the correct side.

The frame is placed on the laminate or other floor coverings.
