Install electrical connection for garage door opener

We are currently working on the electrical installation and now want to lay the connection for the garage door opener.

Now the question arises whether it is possible to mount the motor and the frame of the sectional door on the slope of the garage roof, so as not to obstruct the space in front of the half attic above the garage?

Unfortunately, I have not found anything satisfactory on this so far.
Does anyone have experience with this? Is it even possible?
