Hello everyone,

I would like to install a cable duct for Telekom in the technical room. From the house connection, a cable should be routed in the cable duct to the router. It is mounted above the door. The load is relatively low, but I am wondering how best to attach the cable duct. The substrate is a plastered Ytong wall (plaster 1-2 cm) and a drywall (double-planked). I have already considered sticking the duct with double-sided tape or silicone, but probably more plaster will come off the wall if the duct is removed again...

Best regards

You have actually already given yourself the answer. Minicable duct also comes ready from the shelf with the corresponding adhesive tape on it. Maybe that's the lesser evil.

There are specialized anchors for both aerated concrete and hollow chambers -> hardware store

In aerated concrete, I either screw in the screws by hand or carefully with a cordless screwdriver. That holds better than most anchors. And if in doubt, you take 2 more. Würth now also has special screws with fairly coarse threads. In the technical room, I would anyway take at least a 40x40 duct, rather 40x60, and you can screw in enough screws there.

If I read this correctly, I am of the opinion that this is not about how the duct is fixed. But rather how to remove it again with as little residue as possible. Right?

No one needs a cable duct anyway, you'd rather use a pipe. And if it’s a proper channel, it makes sense to screw it together.
