Hello,
in our development area, the rainwater from the roof, carport, and driveway must infiltrate on the property. I had actually thought of letting the rainwater infiltrate through infiltration boxes that are supposed to be located about 6 meters behind the house at a depth of 70-80 cm. However, I find it difficult to calculate the capacity of these boxes.
Overall, we have about 220 sqm of drainage area (the runoff coefficient is taken into account), but I also know that some other factors need to be considered. Regardless, has anyone here built such an infiltration tunnel for a "normal" single-family house under relatively normal soil conditions, and in what size?
Thanks,
Martin
