1. Choose high-quality electronics and LEDs. It doesn't have to be expensive. 2. Pay attention to the power supply's requirements regarding heat generation. 3. You can use whatever you want for the strip covering. It doesn't matter since the lighting does not impose any special static requirements. If you want something with a fastening system, take a look at what types of curtains are available that are closed at the top. Then simply mount it the other way around.

Funny, my father still has that in his house from the 60s ;-) great with tubes … Nobody knows that here anymore

I was still in contact with the electrician. Other ideas came up during this. What do you think of these variants? What are the advantages and disadvantages?
