Hello everyone,

I am new to the Ikea world and am currently assembling a Pax with Lyngdal sliding doors.
Now a question: the top running rail rests on the outside vertical panels with the metal sheet, which means that you have to press the rail strongly from the inside so that it snaps into the holders at the top. The rail is therefore no longer straight but rather curved like a banana (see pictures). Is this normal?

Hello first of all,

has it been resolved by now, or does the problem still exist?

I think, as I can see from the pictures, that the cabinets are not level. Take a spirit level and place it on top, first on the left side and then on the right. If that fits, then hold it against the inner walls. Is there anything crooked there?

Keep me posted.

No, that actually resolved itself.
The cabinets are in the water, but it seems a bit deceptive in the pictures.

The doors don't pass each other once the lower rails of the outer door are installed because the fittings at the bottom hit the inner door, but I just left them out. You have to be a bit careful, but whatever.
