IKEA PAX - Looking for experiences with retrofitting sliding doors

Hello,

we have taken over a Pax system in our new apartment, which is 3m wide - staggered into 3x 1m cabinets.

Unfortunately, the previous tenants did not install doors, so we now want to retrofit them.

I have now found a set of 2x1.5m sliding doors including rails etc. for €70 in the classifieds, which were/are currently installed on a Pax with the dimensions 1m-0.5m-0.5m-1m.

Can I buy these without any worries and install them on our Pax with 1m-1m-1m cabinets?

Let's assume you had drawers in the middle... how do you want to open them if 50cm sliding door is in the way??? even if there are no drawers inside, you always have to slide 2 doors from left to right to fill one half of the middle. I'd leave it. regards

Is it a no longer available sliding door pair for a 3 m PAX or are they two pairs of sliding doors for 1.5 m PAX each?

There are exactly 2 panes of 1.5m each. The note robi was too obvious for us to consider it. That is of course problematic. However, it would be bearable if there are no drawers or similar in the middle. We have to think that over. Am I correct in understanding that otherwise there would be nothing against it?

Yes, that is the only problem. If there are only clothes rails and shelves in the middle, I would prefer sliding doors over hinged doors.
