IKEA PAX doors equipped with push-to-open mechanism

Does anyone know if the Pax doors 195 X 50 can be equipped with electric door openers, or are the doors too heavy? If it would work, would the dampers then have to be omitted?

Thanks That was exactly my thought as well. Then I will get the openers and install them.

Oh, one more question.... are there right and left PAX doors, or is it just a production error? During assembly I noticed that the middle drill holes for the hinges are at different heights, so I had to attach the counterpart on the carcass shifted by one hole.

Yes, there are. There used to be that way with the doors as well. There, the hinge also had to be shifted by one hole.

Why this is the case and why not all are screwed the same way, I do not understand...

With two holes offset against each other, I would have guessed that in ancient times there might have been a corpus with a common center wall to which the doors were attached, but that is ruled out with an offset hole.
