Hello,

I have a 280cm long bedroom and the best way to use it could be with a 2m Pax and a corner element. Since there isn’t a lot of space, I definitely want sliding doors on the 2m wide wardrobe, but I don’t want to leave the corner element open. If I put hinged doors on the corner element, can that work in combination with the sliding door? I can also imagine moving the corner element forward slightly (2-3 cm) if that makes it work. Pls help. At Ikea I only got the usual: no, it doesn’t work - answer.

Hi

Take a look at the assembly instructions for the corner element here.

Many things are possible, whether it will look good afterwards is another matter.
If you want to attach a 58cm deep carcass, you have to pull the corner element flush forward anyway, do you have enough space on the other side? Take a look at the measurements in the assembly instructions, 96 cm of space is specified for attaching a 58cm carcass, to this you now have to add 8 cm, because the carcass with sliding door is 66 cm deep.
It's best if you cut out cardboard templates to scale and see if it fits space-wise.

Best regards
