Ikea Pax as a foldable wardrobe

The corpus must be attached very securely to the wall. If it works well with the wheels, great. If not, you can always try it without.

By the two shelves I mean two [Einlegeböden].

I have now decided on the shop-bought band variant and have obtained everything relevant from the hardware store. However, I have not yet been to the Pax dealer. If I find the leisure time over Christmas, I will then present the result (or be under it if the thing falls on my head).

The back panels, handle, and lock are still missing - but this is how it looks. Let's see if the cabinet will collapse...




Used were drawer slides, fender washers, countersunk screws, furniture casters, angle connectors, and Spax screws

I have now installed LED lights and inserted "Staubbürsten" on the edges.

Regarding the Pax back panel of the small PAX cabinets and the handles, I am still unsure. Less weight would of course be better (plywood). However, robust is something else entirely.
