Hello everyone.

I'm about to lose it. I bought a 3-piece wall cabinet for my kitchen. Assembled the cabinets, everything simple and easy. Now to my problem:

I have the Metod rail but the holes on the rail do not match the holes on the wall cabinets.
- What are the white plastic parts that are inserted into the brackets at the back of the cabinets for?
- Do I screw the rail completely to the wall first and then hang the cabinets?
- Do I leave the rail as one piece?
The instructions are quite unclear. I am not actually unskilled with DIY, but I just can't figure this out.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello,

most questions are quite well answered in the instructions for the cabinets.

They don’t have to – the holes are for attaching the rail to the wall using the panels. The cabinets are then hung and locked in place.

I assume you don’t mean the covers for the metal brackets inside the cabinet – you can also hang the cabinets without the rail – then you need these adapters.

Yes. Hang and then lock – this is nicely described in the cabinet instructions.

Yes – otherwise one of the main advantages of the rail would be lost.
