Hi guys!

I need help with the instructions for my Malm bed frame, specifically on page 12, step 10.
My problem is that the screws only partially go through the holes of the aluminum stabilizers. With a lot of force, they can be screwed in up to half.
However, they fit through the holes of the slats attached to the bed without any problem.
Does anyone have the same problem and/or a solution approach?
Thanks a lot in advance for the help!

Best regards

Hi, I have the same bed (for about 4 years now) and have assembled it twice. These screws were also very hard to turn in for me, but with a lot of force they eventually went all the way in. It's understandable since there are no threads in the metal and everything is supposed to be tight, otherwise it would cause noises with every movement in the bed. Unfortunately, I can't help you any further...
