That sounds promising, because then there must inevitably be a more or less clever control electronics. Year of manufacture?

... yes, that was also the statement from AEG/Electrolux, it is within the tolerances. And the service technician called it a "cheap" device... Cheap is always the manufacturing, 1,200 DM (599,- €) is no small amount for a tin can with a few heating wires, I think I am allowed to expect 30° if it says 30°. hmhmh... best regards Martin

It is also due to the high power of the oven. This is not well suited for such low temperatures, which makes regulation difficult. It would simply cost more to properly regulate the oven at the lower end as well. And I agree with the manufacturers: if you have to decide for cost reasons - regarding the oven - where exactly it should be, then better around 200° than around 30°. PT100, 500, or 1000 is by the way not particularly expensive; it only costs a few cents. Rather, it is the regulation behind it.

For whatever reason, my oven is made in Germany, has an electronic temperature control from 30 °C to 300 °C that works, it has pyrolysis, quick heating, 3.65 kW, 11 heating modes ...
A corresponding current model is available for delivery at €416. This is probably a special item; €630 is the "normal market price" including delivery. However, about €90 more is added for a 3-facher pyrolysefester telescopic rail.
