Ikea Faktum wall cabinet with shallow depth, e.g., 28 cm

Hello Ikea fans.

I need a carcass Faktum wall cabinet, width 80 cm, height 70 cm but with a smaller depth than the "standard" 37 cm. (As it is "normally" offered.) There used to be a version with 28 cm. I have already searched the other programs from living room and bedroom in vain.

Otherwise, my only option is to adjust a carcass accordingly with a saw, but I would prefer to resort to a finished product.

Does anyone have a tip from the current IKEA range for me or still have such a carcass with smaller depth lying around?

Thank you for your effort. Billy was no longer on my radar at all! But unfortunately, it just doesn’t fit! As you already wrote, too high!

I really have to think about cutting it, but it surely won’t be easy, as the connectors are in the body ...

... let’s see. If I finish it, I will report how I did it.

Hello I have already shortened a corpus in depth several times myself! You need a 15mm drill bit for the connectors and a circular saw, preferably a plunge saw, and you can use the cut-off piece as a template. Also, a drill bit for the metal and wooden dowels. It is a bit tedious but it works. Simply attach the back panel with nails, whereby you can see the wall from the side or solve this problem with a cover side as well! Best regards bergpriv
