Hello,

I have installed 3 base drawers in my old Faktum kitchen. However, they now stick out about 4mm further than the other baseboards (attached to the cabinet feet). If I were to add soft-closing to the drawers, the difference would be about 6mm.
So I would need to wedge something about 4mm thick between the baseboards (which are directly attached to the cabinet feet) and the feet themselves. But I wouldn’t know how to accomplish that.
The only thing I can think of is to screw the baseboard to the cabinet using a bracket...

I hope someone understands my problem and can help me,

best regards, Sabsn

Hello,
did you build a regular drawer under the cabinet or the special plinth drawer?

Damper? You can't mount any on the rails. Or was something changed towards the end?

You can screw the rails one hole further back on the brackets, then nothing should stick out anymore. The aluminum plate is not absolutely necessary, you could save a bit there, but not 4 mm.

By "damper" I meant those small round stick-on plastic pieces that come with every drawer.

The rail was mounted as described in the instructions.
I don't think screwing the rail one hole further back on the brackets helps. In the best case, I would just have a 2mm step.

Without the aluminum plate, you would see the cut edges. So that wouldn't be an option either, unless you know where to get edge banding/trim by the meter (Ikea Sofiel and/ Brokhult)

The buffers don’t really help. Do the rails end with the white bracket? Then of course it doesn’t help to screw the rails one hole further back. I didn’t have that problem with the base drawer, so I’m a bit surprised. Why is the baseboard cut off at the top? If it’s fine at the bottom, you can turn it around and attach some edging on the underside.
