Ideas for frost-resistant water supply cistern?

Hello everyone,

attached is a sketch of the water supply from the cistern to a faucet mounted on the house wall. My question is whether anyone has an idea of how to make the whole thing frost-proof.

Problem 1: The first problem is that the water pipe leaves the frost-safe ground depth shortly before reaching the house wall and could possibly freeze.

Problem 2: The second problem is how to make the water outlet on the house wall frost-proof.

My idea: A frost-proof faucet that is not connected from the inside of the house wall but, for example, only 15 cm or 20 cm deep in the house wall. I would secure the water supply in the non-frost-safe area with a heating tape.

Does anyone have an idea or has possibly had a similar problem? Are there any control installations?

Thank you in advance.

There is this legend that the Americans developed ballpoint pens for millions of dollars that also work in space – the Russians use pencils.

In this sense: Drain the pipes before winter, like the rest of the nation.

For the sake of completeness, it must be mentioned that this system inevitably has a backflow preventer. The water cannot flow back from the pipes even when the cistern pump is turned off and the outlet valve is opened.

Then ask the one who came up with that. In my opinion, a planning error (or a mistake and it somehow works with the existing installation).

The "normal" solution would be to run the line into the house and then back out through the wall with a frost-proof valve.
It won't (economically) exist integrated into the wall as you imagine.

Dear Alex,

I am familiar with the usual channels and the person responsible has been informed and is now trying to find a solution. Now – and this also applies here – it is important to find solutions that do not end up in a huge mess.

The solution is to dismantle that and execute it correctly. Or to write off the faucet. Water from the cistern can also be drawn without a raised faucet, even if it is not as nice.
