I am currently building a double garage with an attached carport made of YTONG blocks + ring beam and am considering what the best roof would be. Sandwich panels were planned, but I still have some flexibility. The roof is to be completely covered with solar panels. Of course, no water should penetrate here, especially through the solar mounts and the correspondingly many drillings. It is a flat roof with a 7.5 degree (13%) slope to the south. The roof area is about 70m² - 6m wide and 11.50m long. The roof is close to the house and it should not "drum" when it rains. I don’t think tiles make sense since they cannot be seen because of the solar system. I am, of course, open to opinions and ideas.

Have a proper structure planned by the structural engineer. Keep in mind that you want to put a lot of weight on the roof. You can simply calculate generously with 50kg per sqm – so with a variant without roof penetrations, that can be over 3 tons of weight. Or the system is screwed directly to the roof, then less – but for that you also need a concrete plan. I would now simply suggest a classic concrete ceiling according to static specifications. Waterproofing on top and then photovoltaics with weights.

And in which cardinal direction is the house from the garage? Not that the house blocks the sun.

I also do not follow in whether and to what extent this entire building would be adjacent to the boundary (?) Why not just use the technical surface also as roofing?

The house is to the north, so it should not be a problem.

Sorry, I don’t quite understand your answer: to what extent would this entire building be adjacent to the boundary (?) -> What?

Why not simply use the technical surface as the roof covering as well? -> yes, of course, if you know exactly how to design the roof. It can be wood, steel, concrete, sandwich panel, etc.
