Oh, the eaves height depends on that. I have to check what that refers to in our case because the next street is only a dirt road and there is no manhole or similar there. And the second next street is already quite far away again.

Sometimes there is also a mark on the next streetlight.

After the building permit was granted, the structural engineer noticed that the purlins need to be a bit thicker, which makes the house a bit taller. The surveyor says that this is unproblematic. But no eave heights are prescribed in our case either.

So I have now reviewed everything very carefully again and had to determine that there is actually no eaves height specifically prescribed for us, only a maximum eaves height of 6.5 meters prescribed for my and the neighboring property, which we are definitely below.

So now that everything is clarified, I would like to ask again if you would agree not to have the plate completely protruding from the ground but to have it embedded in the ground and only let 5 cm stick out.

It would also be interesting to know at what height the plate is for all of you compared to the surrounding ground level.
But please consider only the plate and not the floor construction.

Oh man, no help at all, let's put it that way: I actually don't care whether it's legal or not, I don't want to debate that anymore. I'm sure the approval side is fine with it.

Besides, I don't see any contradiction in the quote. For us, no eaves height is prescribed, only a maximum that we are allowed to stay below, which we are doing.
