How to proceed to find the suitable financing partner?

So, for the bank meeting back then, we brought a detailed Excel sheet with our income, expenses, what would remain monthly under which circumstances (different installment amounts, with/without a second car, before/after an upcoming salary increase, during/after daycare time, etc.). Our bank advisor thought that was great, copied it, and later we only filled out the bank form (together with her) regarding our personal information and just made a note about the table in the expenses/income section. That was sufficient.
