Hello,
I was unfortunately not able to find an answer to my question online and hope you can help...
I have a terrace with stone tiles on drainage concrete. Since I would like to have a cantilever umbrella, but I don’t like the large bases with concrete slabs and they take up too much space, I wondered whether it might be possible to set internal threaded anchors with injection mortar into the terrace, to which the support tube can be screwed.
Do you think that could work?
Thanks for your advice or tips!

Ps: The photo is still from the construction phase. Unfortunately, I cannot embed a ground sleeve in concrete because there is a garage underneath and the construction height is too low.

if there is a garage underneath, I would not do anything in the floor because of tightness and warranty. My choice would be an electric sunshade or awning.

Thank you for your response. Originally, we also wanted an awning, but since this was unfortunately not planned by the developer during construction, it would involve quite some effort to make the facade 'awning-compatible' (dismantle the facade, behind it there is facade foil, an air cavity, facade foil, thermal insulation, Overtec, and only then reinforced concrete). Maybe I can clarify with the construction company at that time whether there is a risk if a hole is drilled into the terrace. Otherwise, the solution with tiles remains (even though, as I said, I do not find them very appealing).

The umbrella must constantly be adjusted to the sun and yet you only get one sunny spot because the faster ones are already sitting in the shade. Go to a sun protection store with a large display, and show your photo, there are systems on 4 legs that are not [Wintergarten].

How about a base where the chassis can be cranked in and out? That way it is also movable. We have a large umbrella from Glatz. But without a ground sleeve, nothing works at all. To absorb the forces, you will need many and long concrete anchors (which is not possible for you).
