But such a forum is meant to share experiences and tips. There are indeed some experts or people who may have already experienced something similar. That is why I ask for helpful advice. If everyone went to a lawyer immediately, such forums would be useless.

Why didn’t you intervene?!
Sorry, but you won’t get by without a lawyer and an expert now.
The execution does not appear to have been carried out in accordance with the recognized rules of technology.

If everyone posts such extremely specific questions with potentially huge consequential costs first here in the forum and then goes to a lawyer, I feel sorry for them. This forum is the wrong place for such questions.

You want a tip? Go to an expert. Why haven’t you been to one yet?

What I wonder is, why didn't you stop the construction immediately when they started digging under your house?

An expert costs 300-500 bucks per visit at most. For the fact that half your house could be one floor lower tomorrow, a quite sensible investment in my eyes. He won't just tell you that this and that is wrong, but also how you should proceed now.

What and how he does or has done something there can hardly be lawful, nor is any coupling of your foundation/slab/basement/whatever correct and probably should not have been carried out.

The expert could already say that every day one waits with damage minimization makes a structural change disproportionate. This can lead to you having to live with noise from tenants, as only an amount x is offered to you as compensation. Your property has a defect that restricts resale. As I already wrote, waiting without taking legal action on your part is very counterproductive.
