How to attach the top cover to a Skinande dishwasher?

I am a bit stuck at the moment. Our dishwasher will be placed at the far left edge of the new kitchen. So I need to cover the left side of the dishwasher. With a cut-to-size side panel, certainly no problem.

But: How am I supposed to attach it? I can’t exactly drill from the inside of the dishwasher to the outside!

Have the same problem... The dishwasher will inevitably be installed outside and requires a top panel. Has anyone implemented this already? Brackets on the floor and countertop? Does that work adequately?

I would definitely use a piece of countertop instead of a side panel for that, if it fits visually. The side panels are quite thin (13 mm), so you can only use screws about 3x10 mm, which don't hold much. Also, a side panel isn’t really suitable to support your countertop.

Or you can use two side panels, doubled. If you can’t or don’t want to use wall plugs in the floor, it should also be enough to fix the board(s) with brackets at the top to the countertop and at the back to the wall.

The other problem is probably how the side skirting board should be attached.

Usually, they are about 2 cm further inside than the side panel of the carcass. So if instead of a carcass, only a dishwasher is to be installed on both sides, I would first install one side panel and then place the cover panel on it. Basically, simulating the missing carcass on one side. If this corner is freestanding, it otherwise looks really bad.
