Dear friends of refined living culture,

now it has happened: for the first time I am stuck.

I want to hang three pendant lamps over our dining table using the 365 SÄNDA system.

So today I bought a rail (140 cm) and a power connection piece to familiarize myself with the system. How do I screw the rail to the ceiling?

What I understand is that there are three mounting clips, for which I have to drill three holes with dowels using the included cardboard template. OK, but how do I then screw the mounting hooks to the ceiling?
And is it correct that there is no assembly manual included with the rail? There was one with the connection piece.
Thoughtful greetings into the night

Hej,

as far as I know, each of the three mounting clips has a hole.
You screw through these.

Then you attach the rail:
- "open" the mounting clips (opposite to the direction of the rail)
- hold the rail in between
- fold the mounting clips closed into the rail

Understandable? ;)

Hello Chicki,

thank you for your quick response. I had already thought something like that. But the brackets are pretty tight. I didn’t dare to force them open. I will test it again over the weekend.

By the way, I live in GK and visit you in Heerlen quite often. Nice shop and once the new building is finished...

Heeeeeej,

no, don’t bend the bracket open!!! :D ;)

You “turn” it basically opposite to the direction of the rail running. So don’t hammer the screws in there 1000%. Just tight enough that you can still turn the brackets a bit.. I don’t know how else to explain it....

So turn the bracket, hold the rail in between, and click the brackets into the rail..

Best regards,
alex

Yes, Heerlen is great. Unfortunately, I am currently down after a wisdom tooth surgery and can’t work

Is this power rail also usable for any other lamp? And if so, what do you need to attach 3 pendant lamps to it?

Yes, it is.. what you need for your pendant lamps is just the track, the power connection piece, and three of the connecting pieces between the lamp pendant and the track. And one more thing: lots of patience when putting it together...!
