Did the installer know what type of shower you wanted to install after takeover?

Besides the annoyance of having drilled into the hot water pipe, that looks like a 16mm distribution to me; IMO too small to install a water-intensive shower.

Call the installer – if you haven’t already – so that he can cut the pipe and redo the press fittings. And ask him on this occasion if the flow rate of the pipe is at all sufficient to operate a rain shower.
