How should pipes be insulated in underground garages?

I plan to build a garage in spring. Do pipes need to be insulated in the garage?

I assume you mean an underground car park. If it is located in the frost area, insulation is definitely necessary. This is even required. Otherwise, you will have a significant heat loss at this point as well.

Hello, there are different materials. If you do it yourself, I would use glass wool. Unless this garage is heated, then it does not need insulation. Then a fleece protective sleeve works well. It is simply pulled over the pipes. That is relatively easy. Best regards
