No, Dirk, even near Bremen the construction prices should be similar to ours (Northern Lower Saxony)... And since I know how much we paid for our house (we certainly didn’t spare any expenses), with some extras deducted... it can definitely work if Henning stays down-to-earth in his choices. By down-to-earth I do not mean simple.

If you can really save €14,000 every year, then just do that for another 2-3 years and you will be in a completely different position.

Sorry Yvonne, but I tend to agree more with Dirk than with you. It’s going to be tight; construction prices are galloping in the North too ;-)

@ Yvonne

Sure; but when did you sign? In 2014 or rather 2013? I just received the new figures for 2014; in Hamburg alone prices rose by 7.7%, the rest of the North all by 6%. Trend is rising ;-)

Jan. 2013 ... is that already 2 years again??... ok ok... I admit defeat and from 2015 I’ll have to rethink a bit ;)

Well, it’s somehow an automatic process: interest rates are as low as ever, so construction prices just have to go up. Somehow we’ll get rid of our money
