How much can a double garage measuring 6.50x8.99 meters cost?

I have requested a quote for a double garage with the dimensions 6.5x8.99m. It is a masonry garage with a sectional door and a storage room in front of the cars, and on top a gable roof. The storage room also has an additional entrance door. The garage is supposed to cost around 39,000 €. I find that a bit expensive? Would the garage be significantly cheaper with a flat roof instead of the gable roof? For aesthetic reasons, we are still undecided, since the garage will stand freely on the property and will not be attached to the house.

You want to build a covered parking space of a good 58 sqm. I also assume that there is only one sectional door (so outside the usual standard width); the gable roof is not exactly cheap either – therefore the price is reasonable.

A flat roof is cheaper.

How high might the pure material costs WITHOUT labor (i.e., with self-construction) roughly be? For the base slab, I have been quoted a price of about 4000-5000 EUR including frost protection. Hörmann sectional garage door 5000x2250 approx. 3,000 EUR. What additional material costs are to be expected (bricks, flat roof, etc.)?

The costs you listed for the foundation as well as the sectional door are about right; the flat roof should come out at around EUR 9,000 to 11,000 – the price for the bricks depends on your contacts.

I once ordered bricks for one of our customers through my contacts; his garage is trapezoidal towards the garden; accordingly, no standard size was possible. Ask your seller/general contractor/quantity surveyor if you can obtain the required materials through their building materials supplier; before that, however, you should know the retail prices in your area for comparison; don’t forget that you need static calculations for the garage and that the garage must also be included in the building application.

The structural analysis/building application will be handled by my GÜ together with the house.
I will inquire about the stones then. Do you have a rough benchmark from your experience for the above-mentioned size 6.5 x 9.0? Regionally, there should be no major differences (Rhineland to Rhineland-Palatinate (Koblenz/Trier)). But of course, I will still ask our building materials dealer afterwards. I am just looking for a ballpark figure.

Unfortunately not anymore; when I switched my system to "reliably running," some attachments disappeared and therefore I can no longer give you the stone price – however, it probably got more expensive after 2 years. Based on my other documents, I can give you a reference point. Our client’s trapezoidal garage has a gross floor area of 32.04 sqm and a gross volume of 96.13 cubic meters. If I remember correctly, the shell construction costs were about EUR 7,500.
